Data Retention Policy

This policy sets out how long Bath Horizon retains personal data collected through the site, and how that data is deleted. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

Enquiry data (12 months)
Personal data submitted through property enquiry, valuation request, and group tour enquiry forms is retained for 12 months from the date of submission. After 12 months, the data is permanently and irreversibly deleted from our systems. Copies forwarded to contracted estate agents or tour operators are subject to those organisations' own retention policies; we recommend reviewing those policies directly.
Analytics data (GA4 default)
Google Analytics 4 data is retained under GA4's default retention setting of 14 months. After this period, Google automatically deletes the data. IP addresses are anonymised before storage. You can opt out of analytics tracking at any time by changing your cookie preferences in the site footer.
Advertising cookies (session only)
Advertising cookies are session-scoped by default — they expire when you close your browser. Where an advertising network sets a longer-lived cookie, this will not exceed 12 months. You can withdraw consent for advertising cookies at any time via the cookie preference centre in the site footer.
Requests for early deletion
You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing [email protected] . We will act on verified requests within one calendar month. See our Privacy Policy for the full list of your rights under UK GDPR.
